Kenova Water

The Kenova Water Treatment Plant is a surface water treatment plant located on the Big Sandy River. The facility is equipped with the latest technology in water treatment to provide its customers with the highest quality of potable water possible. There are currently 4 Plant Operators employed. Together they provide approximately 80 years of combined water treatment experience. The Kenova Water Treatment Plant and the Kenova Water System has a maximum storage capacity of over 5 million gallons and the plant can produce over 5.6 million gallons of potable water each day. The Kenova Water System is comprised of over 130 miles of water distribution main lines, 9 water storage tanks, and 10 booster stations. The Kenova Water System is part of a consecutive system that sells its water to nearby communities’ water systems such as Big Sandy Water, Ceredo Water, and Lavalette Water systems.

The Water Office is located in the Municipal Building, which is located at 1501 Pine Street. You can pay your water / sewage / garbage bills in person at this location, by sending payment in the mail to this location, or online by clicking here.
